Stainless Steel 310/310S is a stainless austenitic alloy made up of chromium content between 24-26%, nickel ranging from 19-22% and traces of manganese, silicon, and carbon. The prime difference between the two is 310S containing less carbon gives better weldability and resistance towards sensitization, and its properties are tensile strength 520-720 MPa, yield strength 205-310 MPa, and 40-60% elongation. 310/310S is known for excellent resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and high-temperature scaling. Thus, it is the best for application in heat exchangers, furnaces, and chemical processing equipment, which are operated under elevated temperatures and aggressive environments.

Hot-rolled sheets of Stainless Steel 310 are corrosion-resistant and resistant to corrosion and have high temperature stability. Available in sizes of 1.5 mm up to 25 mm thick, dimensions vary with customer requirements and offer robust performance in high-temperature applications.
